After discussing the designs with Nathan and Lewis we all feel that the last 4 work the best and have a trail feel, so that the speculation will follow well.
The flyers will be A5 size and photocopied to give a old school zine look.
A list will follow of the places and locations where the flyers will be appearing.
We will be using a different flyer for each week running up to the exhibition.

Number 1. - I really like this font, i feel that it is relatively simple and when it is photocopied it could create an interesting effect. I like the phrase "In the crowd", however i am not sure whether i like the way the flyer is set out. personally, i would prefer it to be simple with just two lines of text.
ReplyDeleteNumber 2. - I am not a fan of this flyer for several reasons, I feel that the flyer should firstly have a white background rather than the grey that this one has. Secondly, I like the phrase "It crowd" but i feel that it could easily be confused with the TV show "the I.T Crowd".
Number 3. - For me this is a definite no, I really do not like the idea of using the bar codes.
Number 4. - I love this, I feel that the wording along with the font is perfect for what we are trying to achieve. I feel that this would be ideal for the first poster in our campaign.
Number 5. - Again, I like the wording of this one, I feel that by simply having this would make the viewer start to wonder what it is.
Number 6 - I think this one is clever, it plays with the idea which the name crowd came from, and i feel that it would be another successful flyer.
Number 7. - I think that this example would work well, and could possibly be the last one that we release. to me it seems like it is the final question to the viewers and asking them to go to the exhibition and see what they get from it.
ye i totally agree, the last four a definately the nicest and best in design. they are alot easier on the eye, as i feel the bar coding is distracting on the eyes. and as the saying goes "some times less is more" but i really do like the simplistic design of these four flyers. i also like all of the catch phrases on them, i think they could be very successfull in creating a great sense of mystery around the exhibition and "the crowd"
