This image is the one taken showing Huddersfield. Much like Preston, Huddersfield is somewhat smaller in comparison to the likes of Manchester, and therefore it is interesting to compare the two. I really like this image, I feel that the heavy cloud cover gives the image and appearance that would not be possible were the sky clear. I feel that this image emphasises the abstract nature of my images as it may not be totally obvious what it depicts. What I do particularly like about this image is the variations in colour, from light to dark orange, areas of light grey through to perfect black. I feel that once lit and on display, this image is a strong one.
