Trafford Centre

Back in Manchester, I live a few minutes away from the Trafford Centre and the surrounding attractions such as the Gold driving range and the Skiing slope. Although this is obviously not a city like the subjects that I have focused upon up until now, I have always noticed how much light is realised from the area and it can be seen clearly in the sky from far around. with this in mind i chose to take the same principles that i used when photographing a whole city, but upon a smaller area that also produces a huge amount of light pollution.

This image is the best example that I took of the area; the main area of white light originates from the driving range and can be seen for miles around. I do feel that the image works well in terms of its visuals and putting forward the idea of light pollution, but i am not sure whether i should include it as part of exhibition. This is because all the other images focus upon a whole city, whereas this simply shows the area around a shopping centre, and im not sure whether it would fit in.
